This week concluded the first phase of the China Basketball Association (CBA) regular season. Subsequently, the “resting” window will allow the Chinese Men’s National Team to play in the world preliminary round. As for the rest of the league, teams will take this opportunity to rest and adjust for the second phase of the season.
本周，CBA常规赛首阶段结束，中国男篮将在联赛间歇期征战2023篮球世界杯预选赛。
联赛各球队将利用这段时间稍事休整并备战第2阶段。
Zhejiang Lions’ nine-game winning streak enabled them to secure the top of the standings, with Shanxi Loongs and Liaoning Flying leopards closely behind in second and third place, respectively. Last year’s Semi-Finalist Shanghai Sharks have fallen to the bottom of the league, but swift changes have been made since and their outlook for the second phase is looking much better than the past month.

B联赛月度成立选拔委员会评选月度MVP。
\"B.LEAGUE Monthly MVP by Japan Post 2022-23\" is a reward given to a player with the most brilliant performance during a month, the award has been given out to players since the start of 2020-21 season. Up until last season, the award was given to the player who received the most votes from fans on Twitter among the three nominated players. Starting this year, a new selection committee was formed, and one player will be chosen by the committee each month.
由《日本邮报》冠名的2022-2023赛季B联赛月度MVP，该奖项始于2020-2021赛季，是颁发给当月表现最佳球员的。
截止至上赛季，该奖项由球迷通过推特为3名提名候选人投票产生，而从本赛季起B联赛新成立的选拔委员会将每月评选出1名月度MVP。
The selection committee consisted of five people, from B.LEAGUE certified analysts to former players like Takejo Masanaka (former player of Alvark Tokyo). The committee will avoid biases in the selection of the award to avoid a popularity contest.
选拔委员会由5名成员组成，包括B联赛认证的篮球分析师，以及松岛良豪（前东京阿尔瓦克）等退役球员。
委员会将确保选拔的公平公正，以避免月度MVP评选成为单纯的人气比拼。

Over the weekend, Seoul’s Itaewon district suffered a tragedy during a Halloween festivity. In the following week during a KBL game between Anyang KGC and Suwon KT, there was a special notice on the display board before the game. \"Last night, there was a tragic disaster in Itaewon. Accordingly, the event and cheering squad operation scheduled for today will be reduced. we ask for your understanding.\"
上周末，首尔梨泰院地区举行的万圣节活动发生踩踏事故，而KBL联赛正常进行，安养VS水原的比赛开始前，球馆大屏幕发布特别公告：
“昨晚，梨泰院发生了重大悲剧。因此，今天原定的球迷互动环节和啦啦队表演将被取消，敬请谅解。”
